Terms & Conditions 

1. Competition Overview 

Sean Dillon MP invites residents and visitors who have captured images within the Gregory Electorate to enter the Greatest of Gregory Christmas Card Photography Competition. 

• Competition Period: Monday 3 August 2026 - Monday 5 October 2026 (unless extended). 

• Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 

• There is no entry fee.

2. Eligibility & Entries 

• Entries must be submitted via the official entry form at Christmas Card Competition | Sean Dillon MP  

• No limit on the number of entries per person. 

• Entries must include: 

• Name, phone number, email address 

• Location of photograph  

• Uploaded image(s) 

• Acknowledgement of having read these Terms & Conditions

3. Image Requirements 

• Photographs must: 

• Be taken within the Gregory Electorate of Queensland. Sean Dillon MP reserves the right to request information on where the photograph was taken.  

• Be original work of the entrant (not created or modified using artificial intelligence). 

• Be free of watermarks, overlays, underlays, or signatures. 

• Be submitted in the highest possible size and quality. 

• Portrait and landscape formats are acceptable.  

• Minor editing (cropping, resizing) is acceptable. 

• Offensive, defamatory, obscene, indecent, threatening, racist, sexist, abusive, or explicit content (including nudity) will result in disqualification.

4. Consent & Copyright 

• Entrants must ensure they have obtained consent from all persons depicted in their photograph (or parental/guardian consent if under 18). 

• Entrants confirm their image does not infringe on copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights of any other party. 

• Entrants release Sean Dillon MP from any financial claims by persons appearing in the photographs.

5. Judging & Prize 

• A judging panel appointed by Sean Dillon MP will select one (1) winner. 

• Judges are ineligible to enter the competition. 

• Prize: $250 prepaid credit card & a Christmas Hamper for the winning entrant.

6. Use of Images 

• The winning entrant grants Sean Dillon MP a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence (including sublicensing and transfer rights) to use the photograph for promotional purposes. 

• The winning photographer will be credited publicly. 

• Sean Dillon MP may use, reproduce, crop, and exhibit the winning photograph to promote the Gregory Electorate and its community. 

• If permission is granted at the time of submission, non-winning entrants agree that their submitted photographs may be used under a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence for the promotion of the Gregory Electorate. Photographs may be published on Sean Dillon MP’s website, social media channels, printed materials, displays, and other media forms relating to the competition or electorate promotion, with the photographer always credited. 

7. Privacy 

• Personal information is collected solely for processing entries and conducting the competition.  

• All personal data will be handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009.

8. General Conditions 

• Sean Dillon MP reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition if necessary. 

• Sean Dillon MP shall not be liable for any loss, expense, or personal injury sustained in relation to this competition, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
